Our history – experience since 1997
MOTEC's roots go back to 1997, when AVO Fahrzeugtechnik was founded and laid the foundation for today's brand. Even then, the focus was on developing and distributing high-quality special wheels across Europe for tuners, wholesalers and wheel manufacturers.
Out of this long experience and our pooled technical know-how, the MOTEC brand was created in 2007 and was first presented to a broad professional audience at the Essen Motor Show.
Motorsport expertise meets a strong infrastructure
Since then, MOTEC has continuously developed and established itself as a firm presence in the field of sporty light-alloy wheels. Successes and partnerships in Formula 4 and numerous touring car and endurance racing series underline our expertise in professional motorsport.
With the company and technology site in Haßloch, opened in 2013, we have created the basis for efficient processes, high product availability and reliable delivery to our customers.

Motorsport technology for the highest demands
What proves itself under the most extreme conditions on the racetrack also forms the basis for the highest demands on stability, low weight and precision on the road.
We combine uncompromising motorsport technology with expressive design and proven safety. With the exception of our pure racing wheels, MOTEC wheels are tested in accordance with the applicable requirements and, depending on the version, offered with a parts certificate (Teilegutachten) or a general operating permit (Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis, ABE).

Four steps to the perfect wheel
Design development:
Every MOTEC wheel design begins with precise digital construction. Using state-of-the-art CAD technology, geometry, strength and design are developed and optimised down to the last detail. This creates the perfect combination of innovative engineering, the highest functionality and sporty aesthetics.
X-ray inspection
High quality begins on the inside. Using modern X-ray technology, we detect even the smallest irregularities and possible material defects inside our wheels. These precise quality controls ensure high structural safety and reliability – for maximum quality and safety on the road and in motorsport.
High-quality materials
Every MOTEC wheel is based on carefully selected, high-quality aluminium alloys. Through modern casting processes and precisely coordinated manufacturing, we create the optimal balance of low weight, high strength and maximum load capacity. The result is durable light-alloy wheels that meet the highest demands for quality, safety and performance.
Final inspection
Quality down to the last detail. Before delivery, every MOTEC wheel undergoes a careful final inspection, checking dimensional accuracy, surface finish and workmanship against strict quality standards. Only when all requirements are fully met is the wheel released for delivery – for the highest precision, reliability and uncompromising MOTEC quality.
