• Where can I buy MOTEC wheels?

  MOTEC wheels are available throughout Germany from our network of authorized dealers and conveniently through our online shop.

• Are MOTEC wheels TÜV-tested and approved for my vehicle?

  With the exception of dedicated motorsport wheels, MOTEC wheels are generally TÜV-tested and, depending on the specific version, come with either a German General Operating Permit (ABE) or a TÜV parts certificate. Some versions also have a KBA approval number.

• How can I find the correct TÜV certificate for my wheels?

  Our “TÜV Certificates” section allows you to quickly and easily find the relevant documents.

  Simply enter your wheel part number (e.g. MCT10-8018) or KBA number (e.g. 49678). Alternatively, you can select your wheel design directly from the overview.

  The corresponding certificate will then be available for download.

• Which MOTEC wheels fit my vehicle?

• What is the difference between forged and cast wheels?

  Cast aluminium wheels offer an attractive combination of design variety, strength and cost-effectiveness. Advanced manufacturing processes such as Flow Forming can further optimize weight and material properties.

  Forged wheels, such as our MCF1 Forged ONE, are characterized by exceptionally low weight and high load-bearing capacity. They are the ideal choice for demanding drivers seeking maximum performance, precision and weight optimization.

  Regardless of the manufacturing process, all MOTEC wheels represent advanced production technology and consistently high quality standards.

• What quality and production standards does MOTEC meet?

  Quality and safety are top priorities at MOTEC. Our wheels are manufactured in modern production facilities using advanced manufacturing technologies.

  Our production partners operate certified quality management systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 and are subject to regular inspections.

  To consistently maintain our high quality standards, all manufacturing processes are continuously monitored and supported by comprehensive quality inspections.

• Does MOTEC offer wheels specifically designed for motorsport?

  Please note that dedicated motorsport wheels are designed to meet specific racing requirements and are generally not approved for use on public roads.

• Where can I find installation instructions, technical data sheets and other documents?

  Our Downloads section provides important technical documents, product information, as well as wheel care and installation instructions.

  We recommend having tyre mounting and wheel balancing carried out by a qualified specialist. This ensures professional installation, maintains safety and helps prevent potential issues with warranty claims.
